Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support, including scheduling and filing
  • Maintain and update records and databases
  • Assist with preparing technical documents and reports
  • Facilitate communication between departments
  • Manage office supplies and inventory
  • Perform data entry for accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist with basic financial record-keeping and invoicing

Key Requirements:

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally in a technical or aviation setting
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of accounts payable and receivable
  • Ability to work independently and in a team

  • Perform detailed component overhauls and repairs on a range of helicopters
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with regulatory requirements

Role Overview:
As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer at Mt Hutt Aviation, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the airworthiness of a fleet of Bell, Airbus, and Robinson helicopters. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency in all aspects of aircraft maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on MD, Bell, Airbus, and Robinson helicopters
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
  • Conduct inspections, repairs, and modifications in accordance with manufacturer and regulatory standards
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are documented accurately and in compliance with aviation regulations
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to optimize workflow and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and apprentices

Qualifications:

  • Valid NZCAA AME License with Group 1 and 2 Helicopters
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in helicopter maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and standards
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality
  • Power plant ratings an Advantage
